ABOUT US

About Us

Green Lite Productions LLC, a theatrical/event lighting, audio, and video production company, was formed in 2016 by Christina Verde and Matt Lebron.

After 4 respective years each of training at the Freehold Performing Arts Center at Howell High School (where we met) and nearly 10 years each in the Theatrical Production, Entertainment, and Audio/Video Production fields through college, Internships, and myriads of professional experience, we came together to form our own production company, and haven't looked back since!

Our work spans all aspects and sides of production. From live events, corporate business mixers and events, theatrical productions, films, parties, concerts, venue installations and maintenance, photo shoots, product releases, and more, we work hard to ensure all your technical needs are met! Whatever the show needs!

We love being able to say that we love our jobs, in fact, we're lucky! We intend to share our passionate work with everyone. We cover all aspects of production from start to finish. We can guarantee results, hard work, and professionalism with a crew you can trust so that you can relax and enjoy your event, whatever it may be!

OUR TEAM

Christina Verde

Christina Verde has been a fixture in the Theatrical Production world since 2004, when she began attending Howell High School's Fine and Performing Arts Center to study Audio Production. As an audio engineer she has over 10 years of experience recording, mixing and editing in ProTools, as well as an impressive background in sound design and live sound including work at many theaters around the United States such as the Utah Festival Opera Company in Logan, UT, Gateway Playhouse in Bellport, Long Island, Weston Playhouse's production of Death of a Salesman featuring Christopher Lloyd, Axial Theater's Gaslight Tango, and many other productions that have graced the off-broadway stages of New York City and beyond!

Christina's education not only kept her in sound, but led her to discover a love of Lighting as well. As a lighting designer, board operator and technician, Christina has been bringing color to the stage since 2005. After attending Montclair State University where she studied Theater Production and designed dozens of productions during her education there including Hair, Reefer Madness, Arsenic and Old Lace and The Wedding Singer, she moved on to light the Off Broadway scene of New York. Some notable projects of hers include the Miss New Jersey Preliminaries, The Uninvited Awakening: Immersive haunted house in Harlem, work with iLuminate: Artist of Light (of America's Got Talent), and over 20 shows in NYC's New York Musical Theater, Fringe, Strawberry One Act, Frigid, and Midtown International Theater festivals over the last 8 years. She is currently the resident lighting designer for Walking in Space Productions, No Dominion Theater Company, and the Co-Producer of No Feelings Presents.

Her myriad of experience isn't just limited to lighting and sound! Christina has also worked in the event production field. After spending 5 years in the shop as a Lighting Repair Assistant at Bentley Meeker Lighting and Staging, and a year as a Lighting Rentals/Sales Agent at Altman Rentals, her background of freelance video, photography, graphic and web design work only add to her versatility and make her an asset to any production. She is currently touring on her second season as s a sound and lighting engineer with Groove National Dance Competition. Creativity has played a monumental role in her life from an early age, starting this company was a dream she's had since the age of 12, and watching it come to life now in 2016 has been enthralling in the best of ways.

Matt Lebron

For as long as Matt Lebron can remember the realm of Theatrical Production has been a constant and a passion in his life. As a child he performed in numerous community productions. However, the development of his production skills and career truly started with his enrollment in Howell High School's Fine and Performing Arts Center.  After struggling with which aspect of technical production to pursue, bouncing around between Video and Audio Production, he found his niche and excelled in Stage Management. For the remainder of his high school and college career, carried out at Muhlenberg College, he stage managed an impressive amount of shows including but not limited to Gypsy, The Crucible, as well as a series of one act performances accompanied by several large-scale dance and music concerts. He also logged hours in the Electrics Work Study Program at his alma mater.

After graduating from Muhlenberg, where he earned a Theater Arts degree with a dual-concentration in Stage Management and Design and was a proud brother in the Eta Chapter of the Phi Kappa Tau Fraternity, Matt accepted a paid internship with The American Dance Festival at Duke University.  Through this very demanding internship he learned and fine-tuned skills in all different aspects of Theatrical Production in preparation for numerous professional dance performances. These aspects included but were not limited to stage management, electrics, audio, video, rigging, and wardrobe. Shortly after the conclusion of his internship Matt dove head-first into the world of freelancing and never looked back.

He is currently a freelance electrician for numerous companies and resides in Brooklyn, New York. A vast majority of his work comes through a variety of light hangs, focuses, and installations in numerous renowned venues throughout Manhattan and the surrounding boroughs. He is so proud to have worked in locations such as The Rainbow Room, The Plaza Hotel, The Javitz Center, Gotham Hall, The Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum and The Museum of Natural History. He has also found his way back into a managerial position, currently working a large portion of these events as a Crew Chief. He also travels with Groove National Dance Competition setting up audio and lighting for competitive events around the country. However, the achievement he is proudest of in his young professional career is by far starting Green Lite Productions with life long friend and business partner Christina Verde. He is absolutely thrilled at the unlimited potential of this unique and special endeavor. Matt cannot thank his friends and family enough for their continued love, encouragement, and inspiration.

For us at Green Lite Productions, our company name is far from just a clever play on words, encompassing both the tools we use and the desire to put them to use for you! Much of the inspiration for our company name, as well as the earliest sparks of inspiration to dedicate ourselves to the arts and our craft, came from a man named Mr. Green. Mr. Green headed and ran our high school arts program for many years, and stuck his neck out on the line numerous times for both his program and the students. Time and time again, he showed everyone in our program through his actions and words that our dreams, goals, and passions were beyond important and worth pursuing. A true theater fan and great man, he taught us the significance of performing arts and production while giving us the tools to mold our place in those worlds, embrace our talents, and do what we enjoy.

The development of Green Lite Productions and our individual talents would not have been possible without the program through which we met. That said, this program could not have stood on its own or evolved into what it is now without Mr. Green. We wanted to take the naming of our company as an opportunity to pay homage to this beloved man, and thank him for all he has done for us. This tribute to him is just a small step towards attempting to repay a man to whom we and those we know owe discovering who they are and so much more.
